Many Stakeholders were facing difficulties and technical glitches on their EPR logins. CPCB was finding it difficult to help all the parties in resolving their issues and maintaining a record of the same over helpline and designated email.
In order to streamline the complaint management and ensure the accountability, CPCB launched an online platform to lodge complaints and manage them. The platform is named as Ticket Tracker. The platform can be accessed on the link below.
Introducing the Ticket Tracker
The Ticket Tracker is designed to allow stakeholders, including Producers, Importers, Brand Owners (PIBOs), and Plastic Waste Processors (PWPs), to lodge complaints related to EPR issues seamlessly. The new system promises to enhance the efficiency and accountability of the complaint management process, ensuring that issues are promptly addressed and resolved.
How to File a Complaint
Filing a complaint through the CPCB’s Ticket Tracker is a straightforward process. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Access the System: Visit the Ticket Tracker platform at Access Ticket Tracker.
- Navigate to the Dashboard: Once on the site, you’ll be directed to the Ticket Tracker dashboard.
- First Time Complaint: Click on the “FIRST TIME COMPLAINT” tab to start your complaint.
- Complete the Form: Fill out all the required fields in the complaint form.
- Create the Complaint: After completing the form, click on the “CREATE COMPLAINT” tab.
- Login as Complainant: Click on “Login as Complaint” to proceed.
Provide Details: Log in with your credentials, provide a brief description of your issue, and
Tracking and Follow-Up
Once your complaint is lodged, you can easily track its status:
- Login to Check Status: Use your credentials to log in to the portal and check the status of your ticket.
- Helpline Follow-Up: For additional follow-ups, you can call the CPCB helpline number and mention your Ticket ID for updates.
Current and Future Scope
Currently, the Ticket Tracker is active for plastic EPR complaints only, but it has provisions for other EPRs as well, which will be activated soon.
Looking Ahead
Previously, raising issues related to EPR was a challenging task for PIBOs and PWPs. The introduction of the Ticket Tracker by the CPCB has significantly streamlined this process. With this new system, stakeholders can now easily file their EPR-related issues and track the status of their complaints. The Ticket Tracker not only facilitates the resolution of complaints but also enhances the overall effectiveness and transparency of EPR compliance management.
